A Yellow Rose Project is a photographic collaboration of responses, reflections, and reactions to the 19th Amendment from over one hundred women across the United States.

 

 

In 2020, U.S. commemorated the centennial of the 19th Amendment. Approximately 100 years ago, women wearing yellow roses stood shoulder to shoulder in Tennessee awaiting the roll call of men that would cast their votes for or against a woman’s right to a voice in government.  Since that day, the engagement and conversation continues…..
